In preparation for the Western Fed show IWS is hosting next year, there is a desire to familiarize members with some of the great attractions here in Boise. I’ve set up a tour for IWS members at the World Center for Birds of Prey. It is a worldwide conservation organization based in Boise, located at 5668 W. Flying Hawk Lane. (accessible from S Cole Rd, about 6 miles south of Costco) Tours are $10 and $8 for those 62 or older; free for members. We’d want to gather there promptly at 10am so we can get our admission paid and use our tour time well. There is a whole lot to see.
Our tour is set for 10:00am on July 19th. There will be a live bird presentation as well as a tour of the visitor center and the falconry archives. If you’re new to the area, or haven’t been on tour there for a while, I invite you to join us.
Please respond to me by July 12th so we can provide the total number of persons attending in our group to the center. If you have any questions, you can call or email me, Joni Frey at 208-433-9976 or TJfrey677@cableone.net.
