Hello IWS Artists:

This year our annual exhibition will be held at the Initial Point Gallery in Meridian, ID.

While we are most grateful for our partnership with BSU and the wonderful experiences and treatment we have received from them, we feel it is in our best interest, this year to explore new venues.  Evaluating exposure for our artists is part of the responsibility of the Annual Show Committee.

Here are a few reasons we changed to this venue:

1. Plenty of free parking is available at the Meridian City Hall. Initial Point Gallery, located on the third floor of that building.
2. The gallery is open during business hours M-F. We believe this will result in higher traffic and more eyes on the exhibit, as more people are likely to visit City Hall during summer months.  We like our art to be seen, but we like it to be purchased as well.

As we get closer to the juror’s selections for the show, Carol and I will specify the addresses to which the paintings are to be shipped, and the time frame for delivery.    We will also give a specific date for the hand-delivery of local art.
