SHOWS:

Announcing the 2021 37th Annual Capitol Rotunda Show.  Feb. 29 – March 13.  

All paintings MUST be preregistered and accepted by 5:00pm on February 15, 2021.Entries are to be delivered on Sunday, February 28, 2021 between 1pm and 3pm. Deliver entry to the 4th floor of the Capitol Building.  LATE ENTRIES ARE NOT ACCEPTED.  Paintings NOT shipped must be picked up by you or your designee on checkout day Sunday, March 14, 2021. Checkout time is 1:00pm – 3:00pm. EXHIBITS: 

Naomi Elton will have a show from December 1 to the 30th at Bright Eyes, formerly known as Coffee Studio located at 6360 North Saguaro Hills Ave. Meridian, ID.  There will not be a reception but if you call her at 2084849044, she can meet you there.

Jean Ah Fong and Susan Kluksdal have their cradled wooden panels at the Garden Valley Center for the Arts Christmas sale in Crouch, through December.  Some of the panels have watercolor paintings applied to them and others are wood burned and stained. The gallery is open Friday, Saturday and Sunday, 11-5.  Stop by if you’re in Garden Valley!

Linda Aman –  Idaho Falls – College of Eastern Idaho – Wall Gallery with the talented Idaho Falls Group “Gallery 12”. Her paintings that sell will go to Scholarships for students at the college (three have already been sold for the scholarships).  Show goes until the end of December.
The Art Museum of Eastern Idaho-Museum Artists-Art Collective Show, 300 S Capital Ave, Idaho Falls – Linda has a painting in the Art Collective show “Tumbled” Shows run Nov 12-Jan 9.   Also for the same dates, she has two paintings in the Art Mart Show – Paintings for under $200.

Gary McCall and Mary Gardiner each have watercolor paintings in the current TVAA exhibit “Exaggerated” at the Gem Center for the Arts, Boise (show runs live through Feb 16). Mary Gardiner and Gary McCall each have a watercolor painting in the curated TVAA show “Opus” at the Riverside Hotel in Boise. The show is open through January 4, 2021.

Shelly Johnson’s painting, “Doe and Fawns on Fall River”, has been recognized as having artistic merit by Richeson 75 International in their 2020 Animals, Birds, and Wildlife Competition.

Lynn McConnell is excited to announce that she has been selected as the Guest Artist for January at the Art Source Gallery in downtown Boise. Lynn’s paintings will be up from January 2nd through January 30th.  Lynn loves painting the world around her and sharing it with others through her art.  Art Source Gallery is located at 1015 W. Main Street in Boise.

2020 WESTERN FEDERATION WATERCOLOR SOCIETY EXHIBIT (WFWS-45):
Twelve IWS artists and one alternate artist had works selected for the WFWS45 exhibition in Boise, ID. This was the largest number of IWS artists ever chosen for the annual, regional show and reflects the growing skill and talent of our family of artists.
