Gary McCall and Mary Gardiner have two paintings each in the “Figure This” exhibit sponsored by the TVAA. Visit the exhibits in person at the Gem Center for the Arts, Boise: Treasure Chest gallery, Mon-Fri 9-6pm and Sat/Sun 12-3 pm. Mary and Gary have paintings in the juried show “Am I Blue?” at the Initial Point Gallery, Meridian City Hall, Mon-Fri 8-5 pm, March 5-April 4, 2021. Gary and Mary were each accepted into Art That’s Small in Eagle City Hall opening May 3. Mary and Gary will be Surel’s Place artists at the Greenbelt Market (the market begins March 28) and their market day is May 28, 5-7 pm. At the Village in Meridian, Mary and Gary will paint plein air on June 26 and offer their paintings for sale.
Lynn McConnell has been accepted as a member of Gallery 55 in McCall, Idaho. If you find yourself in McCall, please stop in and see her work and other amazing art on display!
Linda Ama’s painting Terraced Hot Springs has been accepted in the 13th Annual National Juried Exhibition, Idaho Falls Arts Council exhibited in the Willard Art Center, 498 A Street in Idaho Falls, ID. The show runs from March 18th– May 30th. 498 A Street, Idaho Falls, ID. Linda has her painting – Wings of Hope – in the online International Society of Experimental Artists (ISEA) show entitled Making Our Marks.
Laurel Lake McGuire has her painting – Dark Magic – in the Women Artists of the West Show at the Museum of Western Art in Kerrville, Texas.
Jean Spinosa has nine paintings online through the Pend Oreille Art Council (POAC) as Artist of the Week.
Joyce Green has paintings in a group show at the Riverside Hotel Corridor Galleries through 28 March. She also continues to participate at the Art Source Gallery in downtown Boise.
Anne Watson Sorensen was honored to receive 2 Merit Recognitions in the 2021 Jack Richeson 75th annual Small Works International Exhibition for her paintings Daydawn Delight and JOY1! Ann’s painting “Ye Shall Not Thirst” was accepted into this year’s WFWS-46 Juried Exhibition, hosted by the Utah Watercolor Society. The official Virtual Reception and Awards will be May 7th 6-8 pm, and the virtual show runs May 6-June 23, 2021. Hugh Mossman has watercolors selected for the 2021 NWWS Waterworks Unlimited Exhibition opening April 22, the WFWS opening May 6th, and the TWSA, opening May 1st.

This year’s juror and workshop presenter will be the highly acclaimed artist, Ted Nuttall.
The fee for entering one painting in the show is $40 and $45 for two entered paintings.
IWS will be using an electronic entry process for the first time. There will be Zoom training sessions scheduled in November, December and February. Log into ArtCall.org/IWS2021AnnualJuriedExhibition. You can create an artist profile at any time and make changes.
