IWS ART SHOW – Riverside Hotel, April 1 – June 30, 2020.  The owners of The Riverside Hotel and Boise artist Julie Clemons, a non-IWS member, will jury 35 to 40 IWS water-media paintings to hang in the Riverside Hotel hallways. This show will highlight IWS artwork during WFWS-45 when and where the convention and guests will be staying.


WFWS-45 EXHIBITION:  June 5-July 26th at the Idaho State Museum’s Syringa Gallery

Loretta Barra has her Whimsical watercolor paintings and notecards at The Art Zone 208 located at Cole and Ustick in Boise. Please drop by and see them. The first Friday of the month between 6pm -8:30pm is a great time to come and meet all the artists!

DWIGHT WILLIAMS will have a 14/16 paintings on display at The Initial Point Gallery through the month of May (plus Apr. 1 & 2). The gallery is located on the third floor of the Meridian City Hall (when you get off of the elevator you’re actually in the gallery). The exhibit opening – afternoon and evening – Tuesday, March 3, 4:30 – 7:30 p.m. The gallery is otherwise open during regular business days and hours, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Other painting and ceramic artists included at that time are Alisha Whitman, Kevin Flynn and Amber Day.

Linda Aman has been accepted into the 12th Annual Juried Idaho Falls National Exhibition, with her art piece, “Lush Lagoon”, a watercolor/mixed media triptych.  Opening Reception: March 19th, on display through June 1st, at the Willard Arts Center in Idaho Falls, ID.

Debra Bruner (Debra Bruner Studio)  has two events coming up:
March 18-22 Great Falls, MT: Western Heritage Art Show Foot Prints on the Trail Room 207
May 23-25 Prescott, AZ: The Phippen Museum 46th Annual Western Art Show & Sale At the Historic County Courthouse
Debra’s watercolor titled “I Hope We Dance” was awarded 3rd place in the fine art competition at the Wickenburg AZ Fine Art Show in February.

Twelve IWS artists and one alternate artist had works selected for the WFWS45 exhibition in Boise, ID. This was the largest number of IWS artists ever chosen for the annual, regional show and reflects the growing skill and talent of our family of artists. CONGRATULATIONS!
