The 38th Annual Capitol Rotunda Show: A Return to Tradition!

March 5th – March 19, 2022

A Return to Tradition: We are so excited to announce the return of this beloved IWS statewide exhibition. For the past two years we have been unable to host the Annual Rotunda show on location at the Idaho State Capitol but in 2022 the show must go on! We can’t wait to see what our Idaho watercolorists have been painting.

Call For Entries: Applications Due February 21, 2022

The Rotunda Show is open to all Associate and Active members of the Idaho Watercolor Society. If you are not a member and would like to join, or need to renew your membership, please do so here:  https://www.idahowatercolorsociety.org/join/

There is no entry fee for the show this year but the IWS will be awarding a $200 Visitors Choice Award to a recipient chosen by the public! This non-juried exhibition is open to the first 70 entries we receive. Please read the show guidelines and application carefully before applying. You can view and print them out here: CLICK HERE FOR APPLICATION FORM

In November, 2021, the Idaho Watercolor Society Traveling Exhibition was destroyed in a fire that resulted from a tragic accident while the paintings were en route between venues. All 21 paintings were destroyed. The paintings were the award winners from the Idaho Watercolor Society’s annual exhibition. We present them here in tribute to the artists and their dedication to watercolor. Click here to view those paintings as a PDF file.
